2023–2024 COVID-19 Protocols
In consideration of the ongoing risks of COVID-19, Whitman College strongly encourages all Whitman students, faculty and staff to remain up to date, as defined by the CDC, on their COVID-19 vaccinations. Learn more about our current COVID-19 protocols in our COVID-19 Dashboard.
Using the Everbridge Campus Alert App
Whitman faculty, staff and students are strongly encouraged to download the Everbridge app to their mobile devices. This app, available for iOS and Android, provides an additional system for sending notifications in the event of a campus alert.
Emergency Alert Test
Whitman College will be running a test of the campus emergency alert system in September 2023.
Information for Families
In the event of a campus emergency, Whitman’s leadership will do everything they can to ensure that all our students, staff and faculty are safe. Updates will be posted here as soon as possible to keep our our extended Whitman community members around the world informed of any situation as it develops.
For questions specific to the well-being of your student, we strongly suggest you reach out to them directly, or to close friends or roommates for whom you have contact information.
